Our Farm in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee is situated in a quiet location on the edge of the forest, surrounded by the Tennengebirge, Dachstein, Altenmarkt’s local mountain the Lackenkogel and the Strimskogel. Our farm is the ideal base for a variety activities in the region.

Along hiking tours, which can be started directly from the farm, you’ll experience lush alpine meadows, clear mountain lakes and a splendid panorama. Stop for refreshment in one of the rustic alpine huts. To make the ascent up the mountain easier a number of lifts are in operation in the summer too. Our special tips for families are the Country Lores Trail and the Path of the Moon.
The Wanderbus transports you comfortably back again with the 1-Euro ticket.

Cycling & e-biking in the region
Cycle gently along the family-friendly Enns Cycle Path or effortlessly on an e-bike along marked forest tracks or breathtaking downhill trails on a mountain bike. Altenmarkt-Zauchensee offers a wide range of signposted cycle and bike trails of varying difficulty levels.
Swimming, horse riding, fishing, golf
In the surrounding area there a bathing lakes and the Thermal Spa Amadé for refreshing dips on hot summer’s days. You can reach the Reitecksee Lake in Reitdorf along the family cycle path. Riding stables are a short walk away from our farm. We wish you a “good catch” fishing at the Reitlehenalm, in the Zauchbach stream and in the Zauchensee Lake (day licence required for the Zauchbach stream and the Zauchensee Lake).
The Golf Club Radstadt with unique golf cable car is situated in Radstadt, just a few kilometres away from our farm.
